Wellness Guide To Columbus, Ohio
4 min readSep 9, 2023
I went to college at The Ohio State University (emphasis on the *the* lol… if you know, you know), so naturally, Columbus has a very special place in my heart. It really is an incredible city.
Prior to visiting OSU, I thought Columbus was going to be in the middle of a cornfield. I was shocked when I realized what a thriving city it was — super artsy, amazing restaurants, + gives off such friendly neighborhood energy. I could go on + on — but visit for yourself + see what you think!
Coffee + Cafes
- One Line Coffee — The best takeaway coffee! This coffee shop is where I started loving pour over coffee. Their maple latte is also so good!
- Mission Coffee Co. — This was my favorite coffee shop to work at! They’ve since changed locations, but I’m sure the coffee + vibe is still amazing
- Fox In The Snow Cafe — Love this cafe (multiple locations). Get the breakfast sandwich + a pastry!
- Pistacia Vera — Pastry shop in German Village. Make sure to get macarons + the pistachio latte! After visiting, talk a stroll around the cutest cobblestone streets of the historic German Village + visit The Book Loft!
- Parable Cafe — Coffee, pastries, + lots of plants!
- The Roosevelt Coffee Shop — Nonprofit coffee house with great co-working vibes
- Native Cold Pressed — The best juice + smoothie bowls in Columbus
- Alchemy Kitchen — Healthy cafe with sandwiches, salads, smoothies, + juices
- Buckeye Donuts — I had to add this spot to this list for nostalgic purposes. It’s an Ohio State classic. People love it for the donuts, but I loved it for the gyros after game day
- Katalina’s — The breakfast tacos + the nutella stuffed pancake balls will always have my heart. The seating is limited inside, so go early if you are wanting to do brunch on the weekend!
- Emmett’s Cafe — Super cute cafe with a beautiful patio that’s a great spot for brunch
- The Lox Bagel Shop — For all of your bagel cravings!
- ZenCha — My favorite tea house! Go for brunch on the weekend + get the the Masala Chai Waffles… yum
